Metal day bed is beds that can serve as a sofa or extra seating during the day, and provide comfortable sleeping during the night. Day beds are an ideal solution for rooms that are not unusually large or need to do double duty. These beds are usually the size of a twin mattress and the pillows are as high as a sofa. If there is an area that needs both a sofa and a bed, make a simple day bed that solves both problems.
Cut medium density fiberboard size using the table saw. Install studs around the perimeter, 1.5 inches from the top of the frame boards. Along 10-by-76 inch pieces measure two meters from each end and mark with a pen. Leave a gap in one inch from the pencil line to the next cleat for crossbar. Now measure 1.5 inches from the bottom of the design day bed boards and install the studs around the perimeter.
Attach one of the 10-by-76 inch boards to a 10-by-37 inch board with screws. Then attach other 10-by-37 inch board to the other end. Finish the day bed by attaching the latest 10-by-76-inch board to the front. Turn the frame over and attach the metal brackets to each corner with screws. Screw the bun feet to the brackets. Slide 1-by-1 foot cross supports into slots between the cleats. Place the 37-by-76 inch platform piece on the cross supports and paint or bets as desired.
