If you have twins, you must have course always double everything. Two metal bed frames queen, extra space in the cupboards, extra toys, clothes and so on. Now it takes a lot of headaches to set up a children’s room without you having to take this into account. No wonder a lot of parents of twins only grab the easiest solution: they buy the whole nursery in a store and it’s done.
Yet that is not the best, the best or the cheapest solution. Here you will find some useful tips for setting up a twin room for children. Sometimes you simply assume that what applies to one half of the twins is also valid for the other half. However: no matter how much they look alike, sometimes twins want very different things. For example, one may be fond of blue and the other one yellow. Hold the one of Tarzan and the other of Superman.
That does not make it easier to set up the nursery, but you have to know in advance! You can divide the nursery into two halves and give each child his or her own half. That can be a very nice effect, because you still get two separate parts in the nursery. If you prefer not to, you can of course opt for a whole. Then at least the furniture must fit together – the same beds, cabinets, chairs, etc.
